Motivation and Satisfaction Questionnaire in Vocational Training in GP/FM (MSQ-VT-GP/FM)¹

Introduction

Layout of the web-implementated questionnaire as used in the pilot-study. There is no active survey at the moment, but for your personal interest, the questionnaire can be clicked.

With this questionnaire we want to draw attention to the situation of GP trainees throughout Europe and want to collect information that will enable to draw conclusions for improvements of vocational training (VT).

After some general questions, we will, in the first part, look at motivational, practical, and organisational aspects of vocational training, and try to understand how satisfied you are with the training and what areas you would recommend for improvement.

In the second part we want to know more specifically to what extent the trainees are satisfied with the training of the specific competences of GP/FM, defined by the Educational Agenda, a guideline developed by the European Academy of Teachers in General Practice/Family Medicine (EURACT) and acknowledged by the World Organization of Family Medicine (WONCA) Europe.

To ensure the quality of the survey, it is important to get complete, honest and true answers. Your answers will be handled anonymously. We neither have commercial interests nor interest in tracking individual responses: Data will be stored anonymously on a computer of the Department of General Practice and Health Services Research, University Hospital Heidelberg, Germany. Guarantors are Dr. Peters-Klimm, research fellow, and Prof. Szecsenyi, director of the department.

Thank you for your participation!

¹ The MSQ-VT-GP/FM was developed by the Education and Training Themegroup of the Vasco da Gama Movement (www.vdgm.eu). VdGM supported the design of the web-based version of it, which was implemented by Dr. G. Laux and F. Aluttis (University Hospital Heidelberg).
